Whitfield Visits West Point Military Academy to Praise Kentucky Cadets
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Ed Whitfield, (KY-01), Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Energy and Power, made a visit to the United States Military Academy at West Point on Monday to offer his words of support to the Kentucky Cadets currently enrolled at the prestigious institution. The school is located in the Hudson Valley Region of New York State 40 miles north of New York City.
“It was my honor to visit with some of Kentucky’s brightest and bravest future leaders,” stated Whitfield. “As these outstanding men and women continue their education and training to prepare for what will certainly be promising careers serving their country, I’m confident that they will represent the Commonwealth with diligence, honor and class. I couldn’t be more proud of these cadets, and I wish them ongoing success.”
